‘Stalker MUCH’? Frothy blue check tangles with Dana Loesch over 10-year-old tweet and OMG the DESTRUCTION

by I'm Struggling
in News
Nobody attracts the crazies quite like Dana Loesch. It’s probably because they can’t stand that she’s informed, clever, lovely and unshakeable. We have seen disgusting POS trolls threaten her children and yet she still stands. So it should come as no surprise that when blue check Natalie Morales trolled her over a 10-year-old tweet that things didn’t go so great for her … Is it because a lot of them are able to vote ? https://t.co/lr1drfKgqA — Natalie Morales (@nataliemorales) September 1, 2018 After a while, you’ve got to wonder if folks like Natalie ever get tired of being made […]

“Fight for real news”: BuzzFeed News adding a donate button at the end of articles

by I'm Struggling
in News
Apparently taking inspiration from The Guardian, BuzzFeed News is going to add a donate button to the end of each article, allowing readers to fund the site voluntarily. The question now is, will they? Liberals couldn’t donate money fast enough to a GoFundMe account set up for fired FBI agent Peter Strzok, but will they click a button at the bottom of an article they just read to donate up to $100? BuzzFeed is now allowing readers to donate between $5 and $100 to help pay for cost of newsroom https://t.co/kzMme2CX7D via @WSJ — Hadas Gold (@Hadas_Gold) August 27, 2018 […]

‘Let’s get REAL’: Author Walter Kirn pours ICE-COLD water on media’s #FreePress melodrama

by I'm Struggling
in News
The media are even more insufferable than usual today, thanks to their #FreePress editorials and lectures, lectures like this one from S.E. Cupp: The press is not the enemy of the people. The press is the enemy of the powerful, unaccountable and corrupt. The unjust, unethical, and dishonest. The bully, the blowhard. The cover up, run around and false pretense. Let’s be clear: that’s made the press the enemy of one person. — S.E. Cupp (@secupp) August 16, 2018 Maybe if our media betters could stop shrieking about how repressed and oppressed they are for five damn minutes, they’d realize how […]

“The day the swamp overflowed”: David Axelrod takes this Trump news day to hyperbolic overdrive

“This will be remembered as the day the swamp overflowed.” — Noted historian David Axelrod This will be remembered as the day when the swamp overflowed.https://t.co/t6O1gL0AIv — David Axelrod (@davidaxelrod) August 21, 2018 While he was sharing an article about Rep. Duncan Hunter being indicted on illegal use of campaign funds, his comment is more pointed at the news surrounding former attorney for President Trump Michael Cohen reaching a plea deal with federal prosecutors and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort being found guilty on eight counts of fraud. This could very well be the beginning of the end for […]

Beyond Water and Batteries: Ready Your Hurricane Preparedness Communications Plan Now

by I'm Struggling
in News
It’s already August, and hurricane season is well underway. While weather authorities are reporting a “below average” season this year, experts are already predicting two to three Category 3+ storms during peak hurricane season (mid-August through mid-October). While many say 2017 was an anomaly, our planet is only getting warmer, and hurricanes breed from warmth. Last year when Puerto Rico was struck by two Category 4+ hurricanes, Ketchum’s travel experts and issues and crisis specialists helped the island navigate through the worst natural disaster in its history. While 2017 may have been the worst-case scenario, we should keep in mind […]
