Torn between east and west

I'm a long time martial artist. My background is mainly in karate (goju and wado), as well as other Japanese arts. I'm currently training in HEMA, specifically Kunst Des Fechtens, and I mainly train longsword and sword and buckler. I feel like lately my training is more heavily weighted towards weapons, and I'd love to bring back some unarmed martial arts to balance things out. I'm not sure if it would be better to relearn karate on my own (as I don't have a dojo to go to that works with my schedule), or to learn the kdf wrestling techniques to fill that unarmed niche. Any advice?

P. S. I'm not sure if this should be in r/Karate or R/WMA, so I thought that r/Martial Arts would be a good place either way.
